Marketing Coordinator & Reception

Maternity Leave Position – Full Time

We are seeking a professional, organized go-getter to join their team under a temporary, full time position as a Marketing Coordinator. This individual will also be cross trained for reception coverage. This position has the potential to evolve into permanent, full-time employment.

Location: Sherwood Park

Job Status: Temporary Contact (1 Year) Maternity Leave Full Time

Salary: Hourly rate based on experience

Responsibilities

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation of all marketing activities and projects under a one-year contract. This will include:

  • Copywriting content; including blog articles, industry announcements, and company newsletters
  • Maintaining and tracking all social media accounts
  • Graphic design of both online and offline content consistent with company vision and goals
  • Ongoing monitoring of current marketing efforts
  • Analyzation of Google Analytics and Adwords data and making adjustments where necessary
  • Assistance with event planning and coordination
  • Monitoring internal programs and updating as necessary
  • Tracking and review of marketing budget on a quarterly basis
  • Continuous monitoring of changes or updates within the Canadian Mortgage Industry
  • Coordination and preparation of presentations and seminars

As the Receptionist you will be responsible for daily aspects of running an efficient office. This will include:

  • Answering telephones and greeting clients
  • Organizing and taking care of general office maintenance
  • Sorting, distributing and send out mail, faxes and couriers
  • Sending out and responding to emails
  • Scanning and filing of documents as required
  • Organize print media

Requirements

  • Outgoing friendly personality with a positive team player attitude is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Able to communicate in a professional, pleasant and confidential manner
  • Previous reception or administration experience
  • Intermediate level experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, with particular emphasis on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with a multitude of Social Media Platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Ability to learn new programs and operate with minimal supervision
  • Proven history of copywriting content
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and operate under pressure and within strict time constraints
  • Minimum education of a High School Diploma, with further education in Marketing considered an asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords
  • Ability to provide a career portfolio of relevant past work will be considered an asset
